Ken Jones has over 35 years of business and mediation experience. He has mediated hundreds of disputes, including matters arising from separation, divorce, child custody, marital property, employment, labor relations, business contracts, real estate transactions, insurance settlements, and estate distributions. He is known as an inquisitive problem solver who is respected for his ability to efficiently help disputing parties find practical, constructive solutions to conflicts.
After graduating from Wilfred Laurier University in Ontario, Canada, Ken began a business career in the Human Resources field. He has held executive leadership positions at Levi Strauss & Co., Baxter Healthcare Corporation, and Freedom Communications, Inc. His scope of business experience has been both domestic and international. He has served as Adjunct Faculty Member at Seneca College, Ontario, teaching negotiation and bargaining skills in the graduate studies business program.
Ken has been in private practice for over twelve years, providing clients with business advisory and mediation services. He now provides mediation services exclusively, both in the United States and Canada.
As a Distinguished Credentialed Mediator recognized by the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association, Jones is certified by the Texas Mediation Trainers' Roundtable as having demonstrated the professional competency standards required of a mediator, including specialized advanced training. He is a member of the Texas Association of Mediators. In addition to his mediation practice, Ken serves the Dispute Resolution Center of Montgomery County,Texas, as a volunteer mediator in court-annexed proceedings.
